Shivraj Govt to Launch Atmanirbhar Madhya Pradesh on  Foundation Day, PM Modi Greets People of MP

Bhopal, 1st Nov. Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan will launch Atmanirbhar Madhya Pradesh on the occasion of 66th foundation day of the state on Monday.

A roadmap to make the state Atmanirbhar was unveiled last November on Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s strategy of Atmanirbhar Bharat.

The project emphasizes on sustainable development of the state by 2023 through agricultural welfare schemes, employment generation and booster shots for industry and healthcare etc.

In order to boost the economy and generate employment for the youth, the Shivraj government has planned to set up large industries as well as small scale industries in the state.

An official spokesperson of the Madhya Pradesh government said, the objective of the scheme is to make the state a hub for small-scale industries, under which funds will be provided to citizens for setting up industries.

On this occasion, cultural programs will be held at Lal Parade Chowk in Bhopal. The ceremony will start at 6 pm.

The theme of Atmanirbhar Madhya Pradesh-2023 will be presented by over 250 artists participating in the programme, the official said. Marathon regional programs of different districts will also be displayed on the stage.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has also greeted the people of Madhya Pradesh on its Foundation Day.

In a tweet, he said, “मध्य प्रदेश के लोगों को राज्य के स्थापना दिवस की हार्दिक बधाई। मेरी कामना है कि प्राकृतिक संसाधन और कला- संस्कृति से समृद्ध यह प्रदेश यूं ही निरंतर प्रगति के पथ पर अग्रसर रहे।”
