New Delhi, 22nd May.
Senior BJP leader Shivraj Singh Chouhan lambasted the Congress and India’s first Prime Minister Jawaharlal Nehru, accusing them of dividing the nation. At a campaign rally in South Delhi supporting BJP candidate Ramvir Singh Bidhuri, Chouhan expressed confidence that Prime Minister Narendra Modi, whom he likened to a messenger of God, would reunite the country.

Chouhan asserted that under PM Modi’s leadership, India has flourished and is on track to become a global leader. He blamed Nehru and the Congress for the loss of Pakistan-Occupied Kashmir (POK), claiming that if Nehru hadn’t halted the 1947 war, Kashmir would have remained entirely with India.

Promising to reclaim POK if re-elected, Chouhan pledged to uphold the pride of India and ensure victory for BJP in all seven Lok Sabha seats in Delhi.

In addition, Chouhan accused Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal of betraying his supporters, including Anna Hazare, Prashant Bhushan, Kumar Vishwas, and Swati Maliwal. He labeled the opposition INDIA bloc as an “alliance of compulsion” and emphasized PM Modi’s effectiveness in governing the country.

Referring to himself as the “mama” (uncle) of India’s daughters and sisters, Chouhan highlighted BJP’s initiatives for women’s empowerment and announced his intention to join Parliament. He concluded by addressing campaign rallies in Rohini and Bhajanpura areas of Northwest and Northeast Delhi, respectively.
