SHIVERING COLD IN NORTH INDIA

Many areas of the country are experiencing bitter cold. Many states have been hit by the cold waves. Almost the entire North India is experiencing cold waves. The snowfall in the mountain areas of Jammu Kashmir and Himachal Pradesh has intensified the cold.

The Indian Meteorological Department has forecasted that night temperature may drop by 3 to 5 degrees Celsius from 29 to 31 December in many parts of North India. Cold wave is likely to intensify at some places in Bihar, Jharkhand, parts of West Bengal and Odisha during 30 to 31 December.
