Shiv Sena (UBT) to Challenge Mumbai North West Lok Sabha Result, Alleges Electoral Malpractice

Shiv Sena Alleges Electoral Irregularities, Plans Legal Action Over Mumbai North West Result

GG News Bureau
Mumbai, 18th June. Shiv Sena (UBT) leader Aaditya Thackeray announced plans to file a legal petition over alleged misuse of official machinery in the Mumbai North West Lok Sabha seat election.

Thackeray termed the results a “fraud,” claiming victory was unfairly taken from their candidate due to irregularities.

The party demands Election Commission action or vows to pursue legal recourse, alleging lack of transparency in the counting process and improper handling of polling data.

Former state minister Anil Parab highlighted discrepancies in the vote tally, alleging procedural lapses and unauthorized use of a mobile phone at a counting center.

The incident has triggered a police case amid suspicions over tampering with the seized device. Shiv Sena seeks to contest the election result under the Representation of the People Act, signaling a potential legal battle ahead.
