SC Collegium Recommends Elevation of 3 Judges as Chief Justices

New Delhi, 1^st Oct. In its meeting on September 28, 2022, the Supreme Court Collegium recommended the elevation of three judges from various High Courts to the position of Chief Justice.

Justice Jaswant Singh, who is currently a Judge of the Orissa High Court, has been recommended for the position of Chief Justice of the Orissa High Court.

Justice P B Varale, a Bombay High Court judge, has been recommended as Chief Justice of the Karnataka High Court.

Justice Ali Mohammad Magrey, currently a J&K High Court Judge, has been recommended as Chief Justice of the J&K High Court.
