Chandigarh, 1st April.
Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) MP Harsimrat Kaur Badal slammed the ruling AAP and its partner Congress for their alliance in the Lok Sabha elections in Punjab. She asked the Congress to be transparent about whether they support the people of Punjab or the allegedly corrupt Arvind Kejriwal.

Badal expressed disbelief at the AAP’s rally in Delhi, where opposition leaders showed support for Kejriwal despite his legal troubles. She highlighted Kejriwal’s failure to appear before the ED and the imprisonment of his ministers in connection with a liquor scam in Punjab.

Badal accused the AAP and Congress of misleading the public in Punjab, despite not reaching a seat-sharing agreement for the elections. She stated that the people of Punjab are prepared to respond to this deception.

Badal also criticized the BJP for accepting politicians from other parties, likening them to the new Congress. She emphasized that the SAD will not engage in such practices and will focus on their ideology and the interests of farmers.

Earlier in the day, several prominent leaders from various parties attended a rally in support of Kejriwal, who is currently in ED custody until April 1 after being arrested on March 21.
