RSS Veteran Chitra Agarwal Remembered; Leaders Pay Tribute at Condolence Meet

New Delhi– A heartfelt tribute was paid to Chitra Agarwal, a senior worker of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) and a renowned social worker, at a condolence meeting attended by several distinguished personalities from various fields.

The gathering, held on April 2 at Arya Samaj Mandir, Greater Kailash-2, New Delhi, saw the presence of former Member of Parliament Ramesh Bidhuri, former Union Minister Vijay Goel, former BJP Vice President Shyam Jaju, scientist Sarvesh Mittal, former SBI Chairperson Rajnish Kumar, former NDBA President and advocate Jagdeep Vats, Bobby Pareek, President of the Vishva Sanatan Hindu Sangh, former Uttar Pradesh Minister Sunil Bharala, Supreme Court advocate Dharmendra Sharma, Anupam Bhatnagar from Sanskar Bharati, nationalist poet Gajendra Solanki, senior journalist Kumar Rakesh, actress Esha Gupta, poet and social worker Rekha Gupta, and philanthropist Roopa Gupta. Several dignitaries from Delhi and other states were also present.

Speakers at the event shared personal experiences of Chitra Agarwal’s dedicated life and contributions to society. They unanimously expressed that her demise is an irreplaceable loss to the community. Her journey from Meerut to becoming a devoted RSS worker and a social activist was highlighted.

The attendees extended their support to Rochika Agarwal, the elder daughter of Chitra Agarwal and the National Spokesperson of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). They expressed confidence that Rochika would carry forward her mother’s legacy of service and uphold her values.

Rochika Agarwal, along with her sister Shruti Agarwal and other family members, also paid tribute during the ceremony.

The meeting concluded with prayers for the departed soul, followed by a collective recitation of the Gayatri Mantra and a peace prayer, honoring Chitra Agarwal’s lifelong commitment to social service.
