New Delhi, 3rd July:
The Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) is set to hold its three-day Akhil Bharatiya Prant Pracharak Baithak at Keshav Kunj in New Delhi from July 4 to 6, 2025, with key focus on the upcoming Shatabdi Varsh (Centenary Year) programmes and organisational review. This annual meet will deliberate on the experiences of RSS’s grassroots work and the functioning of various departments (karya vibhags), though no major policy decisions are expected to be taken.

The meeting will be attended by RSS Sarsanghchalak Dr Mohan Bhagwat and Sarkaryavah Dattatreya Hosabale, along with all Sah-Sarkaryavahs, heads of key departments, and Akhil Bharatiya Sangathan Mantris from 32 Sangh-inspired organisations.

Addressing a press briefing at Keshav Kunj on Wednesday, Akhil Bharatiya Prachar Pramukh Sunil Ambekar, accompanied by Narendra Thakur and Pradeep Joshi, outlined the agenda and focus areas of the conclave. He shared that since March, 100 Prashikshan Vargs (training camps) have been conducted across the country, with 75 camps for volunteers under 40 and 25 for those between 40 and 60 years of age.

“Volunteers received focused training from various departments, including the Seva Vibhag. Swayamsevaks have also actively participated in relief work—whether during the Puri Rath Yatra or the Ahmedabad plane crash,” Ambekar said.

Centenary Year to Begin from October 2 in Nagpur

Ambekar announced that the Shatabdi Varsh of the RSS will formally commence on October 2, 2025, coinciding with Vijayadashami Utsav in Nagpur, in the presence of the Sarsanghchalak. The year-long celebration will unfold across RSS units (shakhas) at the mandal and basti levels nationwide.

A key component of the Shatabdi Varsh will be the Grih Sampark Abhiyan (door-to-door contact campaign), wherein volunteers will distribute Sangh literature and engage in dialogue with families.

Social Harmony Meetings (Samajik Sadvav Baithaks) will also be held at the nagar and khand levels to promote unity and address societal issues. Simultaneously, Pramukh Nagrik Goshtis (distinguished citizen seminars) will take place at district centres to foster discourse on Hindutva, national interest, and India’s future.

Youth Outreach and Vishesh Samvad with Sarsanghchalak

In a significant outreach initiative, Sarsanghchalak Ji will conduct Vishesh Samvad (Special Dialogues) in four major cities—Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata, and Bengaluru—where prominent citizens will be invited to participate. A special emphasis will be laid on youth participation during the centenary year.

Ambekar noted a rising interest among the youth in joining the RSS. “Between April and June this year, 28,571 people registered online via the ‘Join RSS’ portal,” he revealed.

Vision of Panch Parivartan for Social Change

In view of the Shatabdi Varsh, RSS has outlined a vision of Panch Parivartan (Fivefold Transformation), which includes:

  1. Samajik Samarasata – Social Harmony
  2. Paryavaran Anukul Jeevan Shailee – Eco-conscious living
  3. Swabodh ka Gaurav – Pride in civilisational identity
  4. Kutumb mein Aatmiyaata aur Sanskaar – Strengthening familial and cultural values
  5. Naagrik Kartavya Jagrukta – Civic responsibility awareness

Ambekar said the RSS aims to realise this vision through collaboration with society at large. He concluded by affirming that the organisation is witnessing a “surge in societal curiosity and enthusiasm” to engage with the Sangh and its mission.
