RSS Chief Mohan Bhagwat’s Security Upgraded to Z+ Plus Protocol

GG News Bureau
Nagpur, 29th August. The security for Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) Chief Mohan Bhagwat has been significantly upgraded from Z+ to Z+ Plus, aligning his protection with that of the Prime Minister and Home Minister Amit Shah.

The enhancement in security measures comes in response to potential threats, with the new protocol ensuring that Bhagwat receives heightened protection. The Z+ Plus security includes advanced layers of protection, making it nearly impossible to breach the security perimeter.

Under this upgraded protocol, Bhagwat will travel exclusively via specially equipped helicopters. Prior to his visits, thorough security assessments and rehearsals will be conducted at the locations he plans to visit. The new security arrangements involve the district administration, police, and health departments, as well as local agencies.

The previous security team will remain at the site of Bhagwat’s visit until he gives the green light to proceed. The Advanced Security Liaison (ASL) team will now oversee his protection, ensuring a comprehensive and fortified security setup.

Sources from the Home Ministry revealed that this decision was finalized two weeks ago. Bhagwat’s previous Z+ security included officers and guards from the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF).

The security perimeter now assigned to RSS Chief Mohan Bhagwat is known as Advanced Security Liaison (ASL), according to Home Ministry sources. This decision to strengthen Bhagwat’s security was made based on a review, and it was finalized two weeks ago, as reported by the Times of India. Previously, Bhagwat was under Z+ security, which included officers and guards from the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF).
