Revanth Reddy to Take Oath as Telangana Chief Minister Today

Revanth Reddy is set to be sworn in as the Chief Minister of Telangana on Thursday. This comes after the Congress party’s victory in the recent Assembly elections. The swearing-in ceremony will take place at 1.04 PM at the LB Stadium in Telangana.

The State Chief Secretary and the DGP have reviewed the arrangements for the ceremony, which is expected to be attended by around one lakh people.

Several prominent politicians, including Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi, are expected to attend. Revanth Reddy has invited the public to attend the event, emphasizing that his government will provide transparent and democratic governance.

There are reports that Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka and others may be sworn in as deputy chief ministers. Telangana can have a total of 18 ministers, including the Chief Minister. D Raja, the General Secretary of the CPI, will also be attending the ceremony.

Arrangements have been made to minimize inconvenience to the public, including traffic management and security measures for VVIPs.

The AICC leadership has officially named Revanth Reddy as the leader of the Congress Legislature Party and the next Chief Minister of Telangana.

The Congress party won 64 out of the total 119 seats in the Assembly elections, defeating the Bharat Rashtra Samiti.
