Residents of Bholanath Colony, Uttar Pradesh Use Boats For Transportation Due To Heavy Rains

Moradabad, 30th June. Due to heavy waterlogging, residents of the Bholanath colony in Uttar Pradesh used boats for transportation on Sunday. According to relief commissioner GS Naveen, 14 deaths have been reported in Uttar Pradesh in the past 24 hours amidst the state’s heavy downpour.
In a statement, the department stated that since June 28, the average amount of rainfall in Uttar Pradesh has been 7.5 mm, or 94.93 percent, more than the typical rainfall of 7.9 mm. As a result, the state saw an average of 43.5 mm of rainfall from June 1–28, 53.04% less than the usual 82 mm.”

 

No district in the state has seen rainfall of 30 mm or more in the past 24 hours, according to Naveen.

Delhi Is Expected To See Heavy Rain Today

Heavy rain is expected to fall on Delhi on Sunday; the Indian Meteorological Department has issued a “orange” advisory for the city through July 2. The nation’s capital saw a low of 27 degrees Celsius, which is 0.9 degrees colder than the season’s normal. The weather office reported that the humidity was 78% at 8:30 am and that there had been 9 mm of rainfall over the previous 24 hours.
