Registration for Atal Bihari Vajpayee General Scholarship Begins: Know Details

New Delhi, 20th Feb. The Ministry of External Affairs’ Indian Council for Cultural Relations (ICCR) has begun the registration process for the Atal Bihari Vajpayee General Scholarship Scheme. Interested candidates can apply for the scholarship at a2ascholarships.iccr.gov.in, the official website.

The registration process began on February 20, and interested candidates must apply by April 30. The ICCR A2R portal is now open for candidates, according to the official announcement. Universities will have until May 31 to notify the selected candidates.

According to the website, the deadline for Indian Mission abroad to allocate scholarships and generate offer letters is June 30. The candidates have until July 15 to accept the offer letter.

If seats remain available after the first round, the deadline for Indian Missions to offer scholarships to other students is July 22, with the process ending on July 30.

Candidates must be fluent in English to be considered for the scholarship program. Applicants must be between the ages of 18 and 30 for undergraduate programs and between the ages of 18 and 45 for PhD programs.

From February 20 to April 30, the scholarship portal for the Silver Jubilee scholarship scheme (for PG and doctorate courses) and the Lata Mangeshkar dance and music scholarship scheme will be open.
