New Delhi, 5th July: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday paid a heartfelt tribute to former Union Minister Ram Vilas Paswan on his birth anniversary, remembering his unwavering commitment to social justice and the upliftment of marginalized communities.

In a post on X (formerly Twitter), the Prime Minister wrote, “Former Union Minister Ram Vilas Paswan Ji is remembered on his Jayanti with humble tribute. His entire life was dedicated to social justice. His struggle for the rights of Dalits, backward classes, and the deprived will never be forgotten.”

Ram Vilas Paswan, a prominent Dalit leader and founder of the Lok Janshakti Party (LJP), played a pivotal role in shaping pro-poor policies during his decades-long political career. Known for his inclusive politics, Paswan served in several key ministries under multiple governments, gaining recognition as a voice for the marginalized.
