Jaipur, 7th July. Both of the sons of Udaipur tailor Kanhaiya Lal, who was brutally murdered allegedly for his comments supporting Nupur Sharma, will be given government jobs in the state services following a state cabinet meeting by Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot on Wednesday, 6 July.
The Times of India reported that Rule 6C of the Rajasthan Subordinate Office Clerk Service (Amendment) Rules, 2008 and 2009 will govern the appointment of Yash Teli and Tarun Teli, Kanhaiya Lal’s sons. This appointment has been made possible by a relaxation of the rules.
According to current regulations, a single dependent of a person who passed away in 1992 or later as a result of a rebellion, terrorist attacks, dharnas, protests, agitations, or rallies may receive the appointment. As a result, since there is no provision to give jobs to two members of a family, the rules needed to be relaxed.
