Raipur, 22nd Feb. Governor Ms. Anusuiya Uikey has been made the new Governor of Manipur. Governor Ms. Anusuiya Uike expressed her gratitude to the people of Chhattisgarh after the farewell ceremony organized by the Raj Bhavan Secretariat.

In her message, she stated that as Governor since July 29, 2019, she has received tremendous love from the people of Chhattisgarh at all times. As simple, easy, and innocent as the residents of the state are, they accepted me as Governor with the same intimacy. No problem has ever arisen in the conduct of government activities in the state due to the continuous cooperation of the government-administration, people’s representatives, and senior officers.

She thanked the state’s Chief Minister, Mr. Bhupesh Baghel, all cabinet members, presidents of all constitutional bodies, office bearers, Red Cross, Sainik Welfare Board, and officers from all government and private universities for their cooperation.

The Governor said that she was able to discharge her responsibilities for the development and welfare of the state only with the direct and indirect cooperation of all. She further said in his message that my experience with the state of Chhattisgarh has been so pleasant that wherever I went from Bastar to Surguja in the state, I got immense affection from the people.

People from all walks of life greeted me with open arms and shared their concerns. I worked with them as much as I could in my capacity as governor. The state is tribally dominated, and as a constitutional head, the Governor is also responsible for protecting their interests, she said. As a governor, I also fulfilled this responsibility with dedication. Tried to make my supreme contribution in the upliftment of tribal communities and women, she added.

Along with the Governor, I personally believe that “Chhattisgarhiya Sable Badiya” and on this occasion, I bow down to Chhattisgarh Mahtari. Along with this, I wish for progress, progressive development and welfare of the people of the state.
