Punjab CM Channi, Sidhu, and Jakhar Meets Rahul Gandhi, Discuss Election Strategy

New Delhi, 2^nd Dec. Punjab Chief Minister Charanjit Singh Channi, state Congress President Navjot Singh Sidhu along with senior leader Sunil Jakhar met with former party president Rahul Gandhi at his Delhi residence on Wednesday.

They discussed several issues, including those related to the party and its strategy for the Punjab assembly elections scheduled early next year.

According to party sources, Rahul Gandhi also discussed the formation of election-related committees for Punjab.

Jakhar could also be accommodated as the chairman of one of the poll-related committees of the party, the sources said.
