New Delhi, 7th June. After the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has suspended spokesperson Nupur Sharma for alleged controversial remarks on minorities, voices have raised across the nation that action should not be one-sided but it should be all-round.
Before taking action on Nupur Sharma, BJP said that the Bharatiya Janata Party does not accept any such idea which hurts the sentiments of any religion or sect. BJP neither accepts nor encourages any such idea.
Taking action in the controversial remarks on Prophet Mohammad, BJP suspended the primary membership of party spokesperson Nupur Sharma, while media in-charge Naveen Kumar Jindal was expelled from the party.
On this action, the opposition has asked many questions to the BJP, while on the other hand the demand is also arising that the action should not be one-sided and action should be taken against all those who make indecent remarks against Hindu deities as well.
VHP President Alok Kumar said that the rule and punishment of blasphemy should be applicable to everyone. Action must be taken against those as well who use indecent and inflammatory language against Hindu deities.
Alok Kumar said that action should be taken against Owaisi and other Muslims who are speaking indecent language and giving threats. He said that till now we are listening. But if there is any reaction regarding this, then the situation can become worrisome.
Vishnu Shankar Jain, the lawyer of Hindu side in the Gyanvapi case, said, action should be taken against all those as well who tell the roadside parking stone as Shiva and those who call the Shivling as a fountain. He said that other countries which are getting angry about the pride of Hazrat Mohammad Saheb should also pay attention to the language and style of Muslim speakers. Why don’t they all speak on that? Vishnu Shankar Jain said that if action is taken, why should it be one-sided, it should be all-round. For how long will we bear the humiliation of our deities and why?
Nupur Sharma has said that the court should be allowed to decide whether her statement comes under hate speech or not. Apart from this, BJP leader RP Singh says that our party respects all religions, gurus of all religions, worshipers and followers of all religions. Action has been taken against those who crossed the party line.
Replying to Akhilesh Yadav’s statement, he said that what statement has the Samajwadi Party MLA given on Shivling? Akhilesh Yadav should first take action on his own MLA, then comment on BJP. Whatever action the party has taken is in accordance with the party’s policy and ideology.
