Priyanka Tibrewal to File Nomination from Most Talked About Seat Bhawanipur today

Kolkata, 13^th Sep. BJP candidate Priyanka Tibrewal will file nomination today for the by-election in Bhawanipur assembly seat in West Bengal. Priyanka Tibrewal will face the Chief Minister of the state and Trinamool Congress chief Mamata Banerjee.

Mamta Banerjee has already filed her nomination for Bhawanipur seat two days back in Kolkata itself.

In the assembly elections held earlier this year, Mamta had contested from Nandigram seat, but she was defeated by Suvendu Adhikari of BJP. To remain the CM of Bengal, Mamta needs to win the election from Bhawanipur.

Priyanka Tibrewal has started her election campaign from Sunday.

Polls for the Bhawanipur assembly seat will be held on September 30. Counting of votes will take place on October 3. The Election Commission has imposed restrictions on pre- and post-nomination processions for the by-elections. The presence of 50 percent of people has been allowed for the campaign.
