President Murmu Witnesses Change of Guard Ceremony in New Format, Open to Public from Feb 22

New Delhi, 17th Feb. The President of India, Smt. Droupadi Murmu, attended the inaugural show of the revamped Change of Guard Ceremony this morning at the Forecourt of Rashtrapati Bhavan.
Starting from Saturday, February 22, 2025, the ceremony will be open to a larger number of visitors, who can experience an enhanced visual and musical performance against the majestic backdrop of the Rashtrapati Bhavan. The new format includes dynamic military drills by the President’s Bodyguard, along with troops from the Ceremonial Guard Battalion, and the Ceremonial Military Brass Band. The performance will take place across a broader area to offer a grander spectacle.
