President Murmu to Visit Meghalaya and Odisha on Jan 9-10 to Attend Key Events

New Delhi, 8th Jan. President Droupadi Murmu will embark on a two-day visit to Meghalaya and Odisha from January 9 to 10, 2025.

On January 9, President Murmu will attend the golden jubilee celebrations of the ICAR Research Complex for the North-Eastern Hill Region in Umiam, Meghalaya. The event marks five decades of the institution’s contributions to agricultural research and development in the region.

On January 10, the President will preside over the valedictory session of the 18th Pravasi Bharatiya Divas convention in Bhubaneswar, Odisha.

She will also present the prestigious Pravasi Bharatiya Samman Awards, recognizing outstanding contributions by members of the Indian diaspora in various fields.
