New Delhi- President Droupadi Murmu will embark on a five-day visit to Bihar, Madhya Pradesh, and Gujarat from February 25 to March 1, 2025, attending key events across the three states, the Rashtrapati Bhavan announced on Saturday.
According to Ajay Kumar Singh, Press Secretary to the President, Murmu will begin her visit in Patna, Bihar, where she will grace the centenary celebrations of Patna Medical College on February 25.
On February 26, the President will travel to Madhya Pradesh to attend a mass wedding ceremony organized by Shri Bageshwar Jan Seva Samiti in Gadha, Chhatarpur. Later that day, she will visit Gujarat to pay her tributes at the Statue of Unity and witness the Narmada Aarti at Kevadia.
Continuing her engagements in Gujarat, Murmu will visit the Ekta Skill Development Centre in Kevadia on February 27. She will also be the chief guest at the 44th convocation ceremony of the National Institute of Design (NID) in Ahmedabad.
On February 28, the President will grace the 3rd convocation ceremony of the National Forensic Sciences University in Gandhinagar and visit the Smritivan Earthquake Memorial in Bhuj, a tribute to the victims of the 2001 Gujarat earthquake.
Concluding her visit, Murmu will tour the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Dholavira on March 1.
