New Delhi, 11th Feb. President Droupadi Murmu will inaugurate the two-day International Conference on Unani Day tomorrow at Vigyan Bhawan, New Delhi. The event, organized by the Central Council for Research in Unani Medicine (CCRUM) under the Ministry of Ayush, will focus on “Innovations in Unani Medicine for Integrative Health Solutions – A Way Forward.”
Union Ministers Dr. Jitendra Singh and Shri Prataprao Jadhav will also attend the conference, which marks the birth anniversary of Hakim Ajmal Khan, a pioneer in Unani medicine and India’s freedom movement.
Government’s Commitment to Unani Medicine
Union Minister of Ayush Shri Prataprao Jadhav emphasized the government’s commitment to advancing Unani medicine. “We aim to integrate Unani practices with modern healthcare, ensuring its contribution to global health and public welfare,” he said.
Ayush Secretary Vaidya Rajesh Kotecha highlighted the scientific research initiatives in Ayush, stating that the conference would showcase advancements in Unani medicine and holistic healthcare.
