President Murmu Receives First Copies of Four Books at Rashtrapati Bhavan

New Delhi, 19th July. President Droupadi Murmu received the first copies of four newly published books, ‘Wings to Our Hopes,’ ‘Aashaon Ki Udaan,’ ‘Kahani Rashtrapati Bhavan Ki,’ and ‘Rashtrapati Bhavan: Heritage Meets the Present,’ from Union Minister for Agriculture and Farmers Welfare and Rural Development Shivraj Singh Chouhan. The event took place at Rashtrapati Bhavan today, July 18, 2024.

Union Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan officially released these books at a ceremony held earlier today at the Rashtrapati Bhavan Cultural Centre.

Other notable attendees included Minister of State for Information and Broadcasting and Parliamentary Affairs, Dr. L. Murugan, officials from the Directorate of Publications Division, and the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting.

Published by the Directorate of Publications Division, the books highlight different aspects of the Rashtrapati Bhavan and the presidency.

‘Wings to Our Hopes’ and ‘Aashaon Ki Udaan’ are collections of selected speeches made by President Droupadi Murmu during her first year in office.

‘Kahani Rashtrapati Bhavan Ki’ is designed for children, providing engaging and straightforward information about Rashtrapati Bhavan and President Murmu.

‘Rashtrapati Bhavan: Heritage Meets the Present’ offers a pictorial overview of the history and architecture of Rashtrapati Bhavan, detailing information about all former Presidents and significant events from the current presidency.
