Sahebganj, 16th Sept. Prashant Kishore, a political strategist who previously worked for the Indian Political Action Committee (IPAC) and is now a politician in his own right in Bihar, has established his credibility by correctly predicting poll figures.

Kishore, popularly known as PK, has made a bold forecast for the 2024 Lok Sabha elections, the chances for former boss Nitish Kumar and the INDIA Alliance, and what can happen in the polls next year.

Regarding Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, Prashant Kishor stated that Kumar’s role inside the INDIA alliance will diminish with time, adding that he has minimal significance within the 26-party bloc.

“As the elections come nearer, Nitish Kumar’s relevance will keep diminishing,” Prashant Kishor said in Bihar’s Sahebganj where he was part of a Jan Suraj Yatra rally.

Kishor also mentioned his prediction from 2021, when he stated that if the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) won more than 100 seats in the West Bengal Assembly elections, he would leave political consulting. Prashant Kishor was still with I-PAC at the time, assisting the Mamata Banerjee-led Trinamool Congress in winning the Bengal elections.

The outcomes confirmed him exactly right.

The BJP received 77 seats, while Mamata Banerjee’s Trinamool Congress got 215 seats out of 294 seats.

Despite the fact that his prognosis was correct, Prashant Kishor left political consulting to set up his own political organization in Bihar. However, this was not his first time working as a politician in Bihar.

PK worked previously closely with Nitish Kumar. The couple split up due to frequent squabbles.

According to Prashant Kishor, Nitish Kumar’s JD(U) will not be able to win even five seats in the Lok Sabha elections.

Earlier, Kishor had stated Nitish was offered 17 seats to pull out of the NDA alliance in 2019.

The JD(U), on the other hand, has refused to take Prashant Kishor’s words seriously. “The people of Bihar know how much progress there has been under Nitish Kumar’s rule,” JD(U) leader Rajiv Ranjan Singh recently stated. We don’t require Prashant Kishor’s certificate.”

“It does appear that he is working on behalf of the BJP. The type of publicity he is paying for raises the suspicion,” Singh had said.
