New Delhi, 18th Nov: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit Andhra Pradesh and Tamil Nadu on 19 November to participate in key programmes related to spirituality, natural farming, and farmer welfare.
According to the Prime Minister’s Office, Modi will begin the day in Puttaparthi, Andhra Pradesh, where he will visit the holy shrine and Mahasamadhi of Bhagwan Sri Sathya Sai Baba at around 10 AM to offer his respects. By 10:30 AM, he will join the Centenary Celebrations of Bhagwan Sri Sathya Sai Baba.
During the programme, the Prime Minister will release a commemorative coin and a set of postal stamps honouring the spiritual leader’s life, teachings, and legacy. He will also address devotees and participants gathered for the centenary event.
Later, the Prime Minister will travel to Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, where he will inaugurate the South India Natural Farming Summit at around 1:30 PM. The three-day summit, organised by the Tamil Nadu Natural Farming Stakeholders Forum, aims to promote eco-friendly, chemical-free, and climate-smart agricultural practices across southern states.
At the event, the Prime Minister will release the 21st instalment of PM-KISAN, amounting to over ₹18,000 crore for nearly 9 crore farmers across the country. He will also address farmers, natural farming practitioners, scientists and stakeholders attending the summit.
The South India Natural Farming Summit, scheduled from 19 to 21 November 2025, will focus on regenerative agriculture, market linkages, organic inputs, agro-processing, eco-friendly packaging and indigenous technologies. The event is expected to witness participation from over 50,000 farmers, FPOs, rural entrepreneurs and experts from Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Kerala, Telangana and Puducherry.
