PM Modi to Participate in Veer Baal Diwas Programme, Launch ‘Suposhit Gram Panchayat Abhiyan’ on Dec 26

New Delhi, 25th Dec. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will take part in the Veer Baal Diwas celebration on 26 December 2024 at Bharat Mandapam in New Delhi, at approximately 12 noon. The nationwide event honours children, recognizing their crucial role as the foundation of India’s future. On this occasion, the Prime Minister will also address the gathering.

As part of the event, PM Modi will launch the ‘Suposhit Gram Panchayat Abhiyan,’ a national initiative aimed at improving nutritional outcomes and overall well-being. The programme will strengthen the implementation of nutrition-related services and ensure active community participation.

In addition, several nationwide activities will engage young minds and promote awareness about the significance of the day. The initiatives aim to foster a culture of courage, dedication, and national pride. These activities include online competitions, interactive quizzes, and creative exercises like storytelling, creative writing, and poster-making, which will take place in schools, Child Care Institutions, and Anganwadi centers across the country.

Awardees of the Pradhan Mantri Rashtriya Bal Puraskar (PMRBP) will also be part of the programme.
