Jammu, 19th June. Union Minister Dr Jitendra Singh announced that Prime Minister Narendra Modi will participate in a yoga event in Srinagar on June 21. The event aims to engage almost 9,000 participants, symbolizing a statewide initiative for health and unity.

Speaking after a rousing reception in Jammu, Singh emphasized the significance of the event, highlighting that virtual connections will also involve people from all 20 districts of Jammu and Kashmir, potentially reaching 50,000 participants statewide.

“The yoga event at Sher-e-Kashmir International Conference Centre will have a statewide impact,” Singh stated, underscoring the inclusive nature of the event.

In a separate address, Singh discussed the ongoing impact of the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi scheme, noting its continuity and Prime Minister Modi’s commitment to supporting farmers.

Singh highlighted the scheme’s legacy, initiated by Modi in 2019, and its continued relevance in the Modi 3.0 government. The scheme, Singh pointed out, reflects Modi’s efforts to foster a new culture of societal respect for farmers, transcending divisions of caste, creed, or religion.
