New Delhi, 30th August. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate the National Conference of District Judiciary on August 31, 2024, at 10 AM at Bharat Mandapam in New Delhi.
The event will mark the 75th anniversary of the establishment of the Supreme Court of India, with the Prime Minister unveiling a commemorative stamp and coin.
Organized by the Supreme Court of India, the two-day conference will feature five working sessions focusing on key issues within the District Judiciary. Topics for discussion include Infrastructure and Human Resources, Inclusive Courtrooms, Judicial Security and Wellness, Case Management, and Judicial Training.
The inaugural program will also be attended by the Chief Justice of India, Supreme Court Judges, the Union Minister of State (Independent Charge) for Law & Justice, the Attorney General of India, the President of the Supreme Court Bar Association, and the Chairman of the Bar Council of India.
