Bikaner, 21st Nov. Prime Minister Narendra Modi, known for his dedication to the Swachh Bharat Abhiyan (Clean India Campaign), has once again showcased his commitment to the cause. Following a massive roadshow in Bikaner, Rajasthan, on Monday, the Prime Minister immediately ordered a cleanliness drive along the roadshow route.
The BJP workers promptly responded to the PM’s instructions and diligently cleaned the entire route during the night itself.
This is not an isolated incident. The Prime Minister consistently emphasizes that the routes of roadshows and rally venues should be cleaned by the BJP team right after the events conclude. A recent example of this practice was observed in Indore, where the roadshow route was cleaned within a few hours of the event’s conclusion.
The Swachh Bharat Abhiyan was launched by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on October 2, 2014, at Rajghat, New Delhi, with the objective of achieving cleanliness in India. The aim was to provide sanitation facilities to every family, including toilets, waste disposal systems, village cleanliness, and safe drinking water supply, by October 2, 2019.
