Nanded, 20th April. Prime Minister Narendra Modi took a dig at Rahul Gandhi, saying that the Congress leader will also lose from the Wayanad constituency in Kerala during the ongoing Lok Sabha elections. Modi mentioned that after losing in Amethi, Rahul Gandhi will have to find a safer seat to contest.
Speaking at a rally in Nanded, Maharashtra to support BJP candidates, PM Modi highlighted that the initial voting trends indicate a strong support for the National Democratic Alliance (NDA).
Modi mentioned that after losing in Amethi, the Congress leader will also face defeat in Wayanad. He hinted that Rahul Gandhi may need to find a different constituency after April 26.
Referring to Sonia Gandhi, PM Modi noted that some leaders from the INDIA bloc have shifted from the Lok Sabha to the Rajya Sabha due to a lack of courage to contest elections.
PM Modi emphasized that the Congress has hindered the progress of farmers and the poor due to their flawed policies. He stated that the agricultural crisis is a result of the Congress’s governance.
PM Modi urged voters to participate in the elections to secure the country’s future. He criticized the opposition alliance, calling them a group of selfish individuals protecting corrupt practices.
PM Modi also mentioned that the INDIA bloc constituents are competing against each other in 25% of the seats, and predicted further internal conflicts within the alliance after the election results are announced.
He highlighted the importance of the Citizenship (Amendment) Act in protecting minorities like Sikhs from Afghanistan. PM Modi’s NDA is aiming for a third consecutive term, while the opposition INDIA bloc is hoping for a comeback after setbacks in previous elections.
