New Delhi, 7th April.
On Sunday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi praised Kompella Madhavi Latha, the BJP candidate running in Hyderabad against AIMIM head Asadduin Owaisi.

She sent a link to a video interview with herself

She wrote, “Madhavi Latha Ji, your ‘Aap Ki Adalat’ episode is exceptional,” in a post on X. Along with logical reasoning and emotion, you’ve made some excellent points. You have my best wishes. I further implore everyone to tune in to this program’s repeat broadcast today at 10:00 AM or 10:00 PM. It is quite informative, I’m sure of it.”

The PM doesn’t often share these kinds of items on his social media accounts. Given that, who is Madhavi Latha?

Madhavi Latha, who chairs Hyderabad’s Virinchi Hospitals, graduated from Osmania University and Nizam College with degrees in political science and public administration, respectively.

She is an accomplished Bharatanatyam dancer and was an active member of the National Cadet Corps (NCC) throughout her time as a student.

As a fervent opponent of triple talaq, which was declared illegal in 2019, Latha worked with Muslim women’s organizations in Hyderabad’s old neighborhoods, where the practice was common. She started a fund to help local Muslim women and girls who are struggling financially.

In addition to her work in healthcare, which includes planning health camps and providing aid during floods, Latha is renowned for her dedication to using religious events to spread Sanatana Dharma. Even with obstacles such as the license revocation of Virinchi Hospitals due to suspected overcharging of patients during the COVID-19 pandemic, Latha is committed to her neighborhood.
