New Delhi, 11th Feb. Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday paid tributes to Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya Ji on his Punya Tithi.
In a tweet, PM Modi Said, “I pay homage to Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya Ji on his Punya Tithi. We will never forget his efforts for national progress and serving the poor. Inspired by his vision, we are working round the clock to ensure the fruits of development reach the marginalised and the downtrodden.”

From 1953 to 1968, Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya led the Bharatiya Jana Sangh (BJP). He was born on September 15, 1916, in Mathura’s sacred region of Brij, in the village of Nagla Chandrabhan.
