PM Modi met with President Biden one-on-one in the White House Oval Office before holding delegation-level meetings.

The day began with President Biden and First Lady Jill Biden receiving Prime Minister Modi on the South Lawn for the Official Arrival Ceremony. The two national anthems were played, and the visiting leader was saluted with a 21-gun salute.

‘USA USA,’ ‘Bharat Mata Ki Jai,’ and ‘Modi Modi’ were chanted by Indian Americans. In his remarks at the ceremony, PM Modi stated he will soon hold talks with President Biden and discuss regional and global issues. “I am sure our talks will be positive.”
