Warsaw, 23rd August. Prime Minister Narendra Modi met with President Andrzej Sebastian Duda of Poland on August 22, at the Belweder Palace in Warsaw, where the two leaders engaged in discussions on strengthening bilateral relations and addressing key global issues.
During the meeting, Prime Minister Modi and President Duda welcomed the upgradation of India-Poland relations to a Strategic Partnership, marking a significant milestone in the ties between the two nations. They also discussed a range of regional and global issues, including the ongoing conflicts in Ukraine and West Asia.
Prime Minister Modi expressed heartfelt gratitude to President Duda for Poland’s crucial and timely assistance in evacuating Indian citizens from Ukraine during ‘Operation Ganga’.
The Prime Minister also reiterated his invitation for President Duda to visit India, further solidifying the growing partnership between the two countries.
