Port of Spain, 4th July: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday met with Shankar Ramjattan, Nicholas Maraj, and Vince Mahato, winners of the ‘Bharat Ko Janiye’ (Know India) Quiz during his state visit to Trinidad & Tobago. The interaction celebrated the growing engagement of the Indian diaspora with their roots.
Lauding the initiative, PM Modi noted that the quiz has encouraged global youth participation and significantly deepened the connection between the Indian diaspora and India.
Taking to social media, the Prime Minister posted on X:
“Met youngsters Shankar Ramjattan, Nicholas Maraj and Vince Mahato, who are winners of the Bharat Ko Janiye (Know India) Quiz in Trinidad & Tobago.
This Quiz has generated widespread participation across the world and deepened the connect of our diaspora with India.”
The ‘Bharat Ko Janiye’ Quiz is an initiative of the Ministry of External Affairs, designed to strengthen cultural and historical awareness among youth of Indian origin across the globe.
