PM Modi Lauds President’s Address, Calls It a Vision for a ‘Viksit Bharat’

New Delhi, 31st Jan. Prime Minister Narendra Modi has lauded the Honourable President Droupadi Murmu’s address to both Houses of Parliament, describing it as a comprehensive roadmap for India’s journey toward becoming a “Viksit Bharat” (Developed India).

In his remarks, Prime Minister Modi emphasized that the President’s speech outlined critical initiatives across various sectors and highlighted the importance of holistic and future-oriented development.

“Today’s address by Rashtrapati Ji to both Houses of Parliament was a resonant outline of our nation’s path toward building a Viksit Bharat,” said PM Modi in a post on X.

The Prime Minister further noted that the President’s address captured the vision for an India where youth have the best opportunities to succeed and thrive.

“Her address encapsulated the vision for an India where youth have the best opportunities to flourish. The address also included inspiring roadmaps for achieving the goals we have set with a spirit of unity and determination,” Modi added.

PM Modi praised the President for summing up the nation’s collective achievements over the past decade and for addressing future aspirations, touching on key sectors such as economic reforms, healthcare, education, infrastructure, renewable energy, rural growth, entrepreneurship, and space exploration.

He also highlighted how the address resonated with the spirit of unity and determination, reflecting a collective commitment to India’s progress.
