PM Modi Interacts with NCC Cadets, NSS Volunteers, Tribal Guests, Tableaux Artists Ahead of R-Day

New Delhi, 25th Jan. Prime Minister Narendra Modi met with National Cadet Corps (NCC) Cadets, National Service Scheme (NSS) Volunteers, Tribal guests, and Tableaux Artists who will participate in the upcoming Republic Day Parade, at his residence in Lok Kalyan Marg on January 24, 2025.

During the interaction, the Prime Minister engaged with the participants, expressing that their presence was a testament to the strength of India’s democracy. He shared personal stories of inspiration, acknowledging the importance of discipline, hard work, and commitment to the nation’s progress.

Highlighting his admiration for Munger, Bihar, renowned for its yoga, Shri Modi spoke about the growing global embrace of yoga. He also addressed initiatives like the Swachh Bharat Mission, emphasizing that if 140 crore Indians uphold cleanliness, India will remain “Swachh.”

During his conversation with participants, the Prime Minister underscored the significance of learning from both success and failure. He encouraged the youth to be motivated by the dedication of farmers and soldiers and to fulfill their duties with the same commitment.

The Prime Minister also shared valuable lessons from his time as an NCC Cadet, emphasizing the importance of waking up early and maintaining discipline. He advised the participants to adopt these habits, which he views as crucial to leading a successful life.

On the topic of “Ek Bharat, Shrestha Bharat,” the Prime Minister expressed his joy over the friendships and unifying experiences fostered among the participants. He particularly resonated with a Kashmiri Pandit participant who shared her lessons of self-dependence, a sentiment echoed by others who discussed teamwork and adaptability.

In addressing the future of India, Modi spoke about the goal to achieve a “Viksit Bharat” by 2047, urging citizens to resolve to contribute towards this vision. He also mentioned the government’s GeM portal, which helps artisans, especially women, register their products for government procurement.

The Prime Minister also touched upon the government’s MY Bharat platform, urging youth to register and contribute to India’s growth. Emphasizing the importance of technology, he reminded participants of India’s progress in digital payments and affordable connectivity, particularly via UPI.

The event was attended by key dignitaries, including Union Minister for Defence Rajnath Singh and Union Minister for Youth Affairs & Sports and Labour & Employment Dr. Mansukh Mandaviya.
