New Delhi, 2nd Oct. Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday expressed sincere condolences and heartfelt sympathies to President of United States, Joe Biden for the loss of precious lives and devastation caused due to Hurricane Ian.
The PM tweeted, “My sincere condolences and heartfelt sympathies to @POTUS @JoeBiden for the loss of precious lives and devastation caused by Hurricane Ian. Our thoughts are with the people of the United States in these difficult times.”

Hurricane Ian slammed into the southwest Gulf Coast of Florida earlier this week as a major Category 4 hurricane before crossing the peninsula out over the Atlantic Ocean and striking the United States’ Southeast seacoast as a Category 1 hurricane. The death toll from Hurricane Ian in Florida has risen to 47.
