PM Modi Congratulates RBI Governor on A+ Rating in Global Finance Report

New Delhi, 22nd August. Prime Minister Narendra Modi extended his congratulations to Reserve Bank of India (RBI) Governor Shri Shaktikanta Das for being awarded an “A+” rating for the second consecutive year in the Global Finance Central Banker Report Cards 2024.

In response to a post by the Reserve Bank of India on X (formerly Twitter), Prime Minister Modi acknowledged the achievement, stating, “Congratulations to RBI Governor Shri @DasShaktikanta for this feat, and that too for the second time. This is a recognition of his leadership at the RBI and his work towards ensuring economic growth and stability.”

The prestigious Global Finance Central Banker Report Cards evaluate central bank governors from around the world based on their performance in areas such as inflation control, economic growth goals, currency stability, and interest rate management.
