PM Modi Congratulates Ladakh on Creation of Five New Districts

New Delhi, 26th August. Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday extended his congratulations to the people of Ladakh following the establishment of five new districts.

In a recent statement, the Prime Minister emphasized that the new districts—Zanskar, Drass, Sham, Nubra, and Changthang—will benefit from more focused governance and increased access to services and opportunities.

In a post shared on X by Union Home Minister Amit Shah, Prime Minister Modi expressed his enthusiasm for the development, stating, “Creation of five new districts in Ladakh is a step towards better governance and prosperity. Zanskar, Drass, Sham, Nubra, and Changthang will now receive more focused attention, bringing services and opportunities even closer to the people. Congratulations to the people there.”
