New Delhi, 2nd Nov. Prime Minister Narendra Modi held a telephone conversation with Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis, where both leaders reiterated their commitment to bolstering the India-Greece Strategic Partnership. The call follows Mitsotakis’s recent visit to India and reflects continued engagement between the two nations across multiple sectors.
Prime Minister Mitsotakis extended his congratulations to PM Modi on his re-election. Both leaders acknowledged the progress achieved in bilateral relations and discussed avenues to expand cooperation in trade, defense, shipping, and connectivity.
The leaders also exchanged views on regional and global issues, including developments in West Asia and the India-Middle East-Europe Economic Corridor (IMEEC). They agreed to maintain communication on these issues and further strengthen ties between India and Greece.
