Taking a swipe at the leaders who left the grand old party to join the Bharatiya Janata Party, Congress leader Tariq Anwar said on Sunday that people with ‘Sangh ideology’ joined the party for selfish reasons.

Anwar stated on Twitter that the former Congress leaders are now returning to their original party, the BJP.
“Some people who have held important positions in the Congress are resigning and joining the BJP directly. It is clear from this that some Sangh ideology supporters entered the Congress for selfish reasons. They are now returning to their original location “He tweeted about it.
Anwar told ANI that those Congress leaders who left the party to join the BJP “don’t have any principle or ideology” and their only goal is to gain power.
“If they had believed in the Congress ideology, they would not have joined the BJP and would have instead joined a secular party. The BJP and the Congress are ideologically diametrically opposed, and switching from the Congress to the BJP implies that they had Sangh ideology from the start. They left as soon as they had the chance. They are going to great lengths for selfish reasons “He stated.
The Kerala Congress General Secretary said of Sunil Jakhar and Hardik Patel’s departure, “Those who left are those who are chasing power and used Congress for their personal gains.”
Former Punjab Congress chief Sunil Jakhar and former Gujarat Pradesh Congress Working President Hardik Patel both left the grand old party on the same day.
Jakhar joined the BJP, while Patel is still deciding what to do. Both were harshly critical of the party and its leadership.
