Pawan Kalyan’s Son Injured in School Fire in Singapore

Singapore: Mark Shankar, the younger son of Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister and Jana Sena Party chief Pawan Kalyan, sustained injuries in a fire accident at his school in Singapore, the party confirmed in a press release.

The incident reportedly caused burn injuries to Mark’s hands and legs, while inhalation of smoke has also affected his lungs. He is currently undergoing treatment at a hospital in Singapore, the statement said. Further medical updates are awaited.

Despite the distressing news, Pawan Kalyan stated he would continue his scheduled tour of tribal regions in Kuridi near Araku Valley.

“I promised the villagers I would visit them as per the schedule, and I am committed to completing the tour,” the Jana Sena leader said, adding that he would leave for Singapore immediately after finalising development programme arrangements in the area.

The press release did not specify the cause of the fire or the extent of the injuries but mentioned that the family is closely monitoring the child’s condition. Authorities in Singapore are expected to investigate the incident.

Concern and prayers for Mark’s recovery have poured in from supporters and political leaders across Andhra Pradesh.
