Passenger Arrested for Misbehaving with IndiGo Crew on Flight, Allegedly Drunk

Bengaluru, 20th Nov. A passenger who was allegedly intoxicated and misbehaved with crew members on an IndiGo flight from Jaipur to Bengaluru has been arrested, according to the police.
The 32-year-old passenger was handed over to the police at Kempegowda International Airport on November 17 after the flight landed, said a senior police officer.
Based on a complaint from IndiGo, we have registered a case under relevant sections of the Indian Penal Code and arrested the passenger. He was later released on bail, the officer added.
In a statement, IndiGo confirmed that the passenger on flight 6E 556 was intoxicated and had misbehaved with the crew despite multiple warnings.
Upon arrival, the passenger was handed over to local law enforcement authorities for further legal action. We apologize for any inconvenience caused to other passengers, the airline said.
