Parliament Pays Tribute to Former Lok Sabha Speaker P.A. Sangma on Birth Anniversary

New Delhi, 3rd Sept. A floral tribute ceremony was held in the Constitution Hall of Parliament on Sunday to mark the birth anniversary of former Lok Sabha Speaker P.A. Sangma. The ceremony was attended by various dignitaries who remembered his outstanding contributions as the Speaker of the Lok Sabha.

P.A. Sangma, known for his exemplary leadership during his tenure, was posthumously awarded the Padma Vibhushan, India’s second-highest civilian honor, in 2017 by the Government of India for his significant contributions to public affairs.
