Parikrama-II Day 2: Visit to India’s Geographical Center, Vedic University Inspires Spiritual Reflection
Bhopal: The second day of the Parikrama-II commenced with spiritual practices including early morning Yoga, Pranayam, Meditation, and Guru Parampara Poojan. Following this, the group departed at 9:30 am for the Brahmasthan—the geographical center of India—and reached by 11:30 am.
Upon arrival, participants learned about the importance of the Brahmasthan, a location identified by the Archaeological Survey of India (ASI) as the central point of the country, later reaffirmed by the Maharishi Global Movement. The site holds deep significance in Maharishi Mahesh Yogi’s vision for world peace and the establishment of a global capital of Raamrajya.

In the afternoon, the entourage visited the Maharishi International Campus of Maharishi Mahesh Yogi Vedic University in Bijouri, an inspirational location known for deep meditation and for embodying the ancient Indian Vedic tradition.

By evening, the group proceeded to the Geographical Center of India at Karaundi. At 6:30 pm, all participants gathered at the conference hall for a group Pranayam session followed by Transcendental Meditation. The evening session also featured a screening of the video Maharishi Updeshamrut Pravah, imparting key teachings of Maharishi Mahesh Yogi.
The day concluded with an interactive Q&A session, where Parikrama-II Coordinator Shri R.S. Patwariji provided detailed guidance on correct meditation techniques, enriching the participants’ spiritual journey.
