New Delhi, 31st May: In a heartfelt tribute to the Indian Army’s courage and sacrifices during Operation Sindoor, more than 1,500 women took to the streets of Delhi on Sunday evening, carrying the tricolour in a moving display of national pride and unity.

Organised by Sarv Samaj, the Shaurya Abhinandan Yatra began from Car Bazaar in Laxmi Nagar and moved along a 3-km route through School Block, Shakarpur, and Vikas Marg. The women participants, draped in patriotic colours and waving the national flag, created a powerful visual of gratitude and solidarity.

The event was graced by Commander Tripti Dubey, who reminded attendees of the true cost of freedom. “Independence is not a gift—it comes at the price of sacrifice and valour. Today’s march is our way of saying thank you to the brave souls who protect our nation,” she said, addressing the gathering.

The yatra reverberated with chants of “Bharat Mata Ki Jai” and the national anthem, echoing the participants’ deep love and respect for the armed forces. The atmosphere was charged with emotion as citizens paid homage to the heroes who continue to safeguard the country with unwavering commitment.

As the sun set over the capital, the tricolour waved high—held aloft not just by hands, but by hearts filled with pride.
