Olympic Medalist Karnam Malleswari Meets PM Modi, Gets Praise for Mentoring Young Athletes

Yamunanagar— Olympic medalist and celebrated Indian weightlifter Karnam Malleswari met Prime Minister Narendra Modi in Yamunanagar on Monday. The Prime Minister appreciated her achievements in sports and lauded her continued efforts in mentoring the next generation of athletes.

In a post shared on social media platform X, PM Modi expressed pride in Malleswari’s contribution to Indian sports. He wrote, “Met Olympic medalist and noted athlete, Karnam Malleswari in Yamunanagar yesterday. India is proud of her success as a sportswoman. Equally commendable is her effort to mentor young athletes.”
