Mumbai, 30th July. Maharashtra Legislative Assembly Deputy Speaker Narhari Zirwal reaffirmed his unwavering support for NCP leader and Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar on Monday, addressing concerns about his loyalty following his absence from the NCP’s Jan Samman Yatra in Nashik.

In a statement to reporters in Nashik, Zirwal emphasized, “I have consistently upheld my support for Ajit Pawar and remain unwavering in this commitment. There should be no ambiguity regarding my stance.”

NCP state unit president Sunil Tatkare confirmed that Zirwal will contest the upcoming assembly election from the Dindori constituency on the NCP ticket. Tatkare explained that Zirwal’s absence from the Nashik event was planned, as he is focused on preparations for a local meeting in Dindori.

The political landscape was further complicated by recent developments involving Zirwal’s son, Gokul Zirwal. Gokul attended a meeting of the Nationalist Congress Party (Sharadchandra Pawar) and expressed his intent to work with Sharad Pawar’s faction. He even indicated his willingness to contest against his father from the Dindori seat if permitted.
