Nanaji’s Vision of ‘Antyodaya’ Transformed Rural India: Amit Shah

New Delhi- Union Home Minister Amit Shah addressed the Remembrance Day ceremony marking the 15th death anniversary of Bharat Ratna Nanaji Deshmukh in Chitrakoot, Madhya Pradesh. The event was attended by Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav and Deputy CM Rajendra Shukla.

Shah hailed Nanaji Deshmukh’s contributions to politics, rural development, and education, emphasizing his role in implementing Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya’s ‘Antyodaya’ principle. He credited Nanaji’s efforts in transforming the socio-economic landscape of villages and fostering self-reliant communities.

Highlighting Nanaji’s legacy, Shah noted his pivotal role in establishing Saraswati Shishu Mandirs and his unwavering commitment to nationalism and cultural values. He also drew parallels between Nanaji’s vision and Prime Minister Modi’s governance, stating that Modi is carrying forward his ideals by uplifting millions of poor citizens.

Shah also inaugurated the statue of Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya and attended the “Ram Darshan” presentation, underlining Chitrakoot’s spiritual and cultural significance.
